You are invited to attend an event to honor Leo W. Rice as Veteran of the month . We will meet at the Heritage museum beginning at 1pm. address 281 S 2nd St, Independence and walk to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the corner of c st and main for a brief ceremony and raise a flag for Leo W.Rice. After this we will go back to the museum for refreshments and sharing memories of 1st Lt. Rice.
Leo Rice is listed as an MIA from WWII. We look forward to honoring him and his family and never forgetting him and his service and sacrifice.
